Following a €1.5m investment, the Hilton Inn Garden has unveiled a new Irish-American dining experience.

Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre’s brand-new dining destination, Honey Fitz brings Irish-American flavours to Dublin’s culinary scene. Named after John Francis “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald, Boston’s first Irish American mayor and the grandfather of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, the restaurant and cafe celebrates the deep cultural connections between Ireland and the United States, fusing timeless traditions with contemporary influences.

The launch is a result of a €1.5m investment from private real estate investment fund manager Henderson Park, and its in-house hospitality operator and asset manager, Klarent Hospitality.

The Dublin restaurant is situated in Hilton Garden Inn, a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Dublin.

Honey Fitz has partnered with KSG, a specialist restaurant and food services company to create a distinctive and locally sourced menu which blends Irish and American flavours. Signature dishes include the Braised Irish Beef Feather-Blade with mustard creamed potatoes and red wine jus, and Boston-inspired classics such as Clam Chowder, made with smoked haddock and bacon.

Traceability and sustainability are at the heart of KSG’s supply chain, with 80% of the food sourced in Ireland. Using fresh, seasonal, Irish produce, which is delivered daily, the Honey Fitz menu supports a sustainable and healthy diet for customers.

The interior and architectural design, crafted by Cunningham McLean/Klarent Hospitality, embraces a sophisticated art deco aesthetic. The space is made up of several distinct areas, including a refined bar, the restaurant itself, coffee shop Roasted Notes, and the Winter Garden with its beautiful greenery and blue tones.

The 160-cover restaurant and cafe has been designed to offer a welcoming atmosphere, whether stopping by for coffee, a leisurely lunch, or an evening meal, Honey Fitz provides a colourful and charming setting.

Roasted Notes, the brainchild of KSG, is a specialist coffee brand, sustainably sourced with a sweet, smooth and chocolaty taste. Working with three regional coffee growers, KSG imports the single origin green beans directly to Ireland, which are then roasted locally to deliver the highest quality coffee to customers. The cafe guarantees the highest quality beans and is committed to sustainability and supporting reforestation plans.

Declan Green, Hotel Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre, said: “I am delighted to open the doors to Honey Fitz. I can’t wait for Dublin-goers to taste some of the unique and flavoursome dishes and expertly sourced, sustainable coffee we’ve carefully curated for our menu. At Honey Fitz we provide a welcoming space for all, whether you’re looking for a leisurely meal or drinks with friends, come and enjoy our exciting new Irish-American inspired destination.”

Peter Stack, Chief Executive of Klarent Hospitality, added: “The launch of Honey Fitz marks a significant investment into the Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre to strengthen its place as one of Dublin’s best hotels. We’re delighted to add a new F&B offering to Dublin’s burgeoning restaurant scene and welcome our first customers.”

Klarent Hospitality, led by Chairman John Brennan and Chief Executive Peter Stack, manages a portfolio of Henderson Park-owned hotels across the UK and Europe, including thirteen hotels across UK and Ireland.
