“2201 Collins Avenue is one of Miami Beach's most storied addresses and we are proud to announce our plans for a landmark restoration in partnership with Waldorf Astoria," said Kim Phoebus, COO of US Hotels, Reuben Brothers. NOMAD HILTON SINGAPORE TO OPEN IN LATE 2026

The hotel brand’s debut in Asia Pacific will feature three bold dining and cocktail concepts, bringing a fresh offering to the famous culinary nation

NoMad Hilton Singapore is set to open late 2026, marking the brand’s debut in Asia Pacific. The hotel will embody NoMad’s signature approach to luxury hospitality, featuring three distinctive dining and bar concepts plus a poolside lounge to deliver immersive dining and cocktail experiences across the 19-storey property.

Situated in the vibrant heart of Orchard Road, NoMad will bring New York-style glamour to Singapore with NoMad Grill, celebrate the city's lesser-known cabaret heritage through The Tropicana Club, and introduce a new soft-serve-meets-cocktail concept with Sticky Fingers.

Each presenting a unique identity, atmosphere, and culinary philosophy, NoMad’s distinct hospitality perspective will introduce a range of new F&B offerings to the city, effortlessly combining elegance, indulgence and relaxation through approachable sophistication. Offering an evolving service from day to night, each venue will invite guests to connect and immerse in thoughtfully crafted food, drink, and social experiences – from the hotel’s reception through to its rooftop.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

NoMad Grill: A sophisticated blend of classic brasserie and quintessential New York-style chophouse, the NoMad Grill is designed to feel both timeless and inviting. Celebrating exceptional dry-aged meats from around the world cooked over wood fire, alongside pristine seafood and seasonal produce, tableside moments will nod to the grand dining traditions of New York, reimagined for Singapore. Bringing a taste of NoMad’s origins to Singapore, refined brasserie classics will balance old-world elegance with downtown energy.

Sticky Fingers: Looking out to Orchard Road, Sticky Fingers is a new concept from the NoMad brand, bringing a playful new energy to Singapore’s dining scene. By day, it will craft house-made gourmet soft serve sundaes, inspired by classic nostalgia sprinkled with adult decadence. By night, the space transforms into an intimate cocktail bar where desserts and drinks intersect through inventive pairings and unexpected flavor combinations. Offering a whimsical journey that blends casual enjoyment with evening indulgence, Sticky Fingers will offer an evolving menu celebrating local ingredients.

The Tropicana Club: The Tropicana Club is NoMad’s vibrant craft cocktail bar, inspired by the golden age of cabaret and the exotic glamour of Havana in the 1940s and 1950s. Drawing influence from both Havana’s legendary Tropicana Club (1939) and Singapore’s own pioneering Tropicana Club (1953), the venue reimagines the spirit of these iconic destinations through a contemporary NoMad lens.

At its heart is a cocktail program rooted in the great classics of the era – Martinis, Daiquiris, Manhattans, and Cuban cocktails – alongside tropical drinks inspired by Havana, elevated with ingredients and influences from Singapore and Southeast Asia. Paired with live music, curated DJ sets, and NoMad’s signature approach to hospitality, The Tropicana Club is designed as a lively social destination where cocktails, culture, and connection come together from day into night.

Lù Bar will be an additional poolside location, offering a quiet sanctuary with lush greenery and soft furnishings. Guests can enjoy aperitivo cocktails and refreshing drinks during the sun-soaked days, with artworks and design nods that celebrate the symbolism of the Heron.

Layering immersive dining and cocktail experiences throughout the property, NoMad reflects and evolves the city’s dynamic and diverse culinary culture, delivering a globally influenced hospitality approach tailored to Singapore’s modern lifestyle.

“Singapore is one of the most exciting food and beverage cities in the world. Our goal is not simply to bring NoMad to Singapore, but to create something that feels genuinely connected to the city and its culture. Each venue has been designed with its own identity and energy, while sharing the warmth, generosity and sense of occasion that define the NoMad experience. We want these spaces to become destinations for both travelers and locals alike,” said Leo Robitschek, global head of bars and hospitality development, Sydell.

Leo Robitschek leads NoMad’s global cocktail program, garnering international accolades including the James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program and recognition on the World’s 50 Best Bars list.

Alongside the leadership of Robitschek, NoMad announces the appointment of Josh Harnden as global culinary director at NoMad. Harnden brings more than two decades of culinary leadership across Michelin-starred restaurants, internationally acclaimed hospitality groups, and concept-driven openings. His career includes a defining tenure at Eleven Madison Park, where he served as Partner and Creative Culinary Director, and includes roles at One White Street, The Noortwyck, and early roots within the NoMad NYC kitchen. Harnden will oversee the continued evolution of NoMad’s culinary identity globally, shaping menu direction, operational standards, and the creative approach that defines the NoMad experience, taking a leading role in the F&B development of NoMad Singapore.

Harnden will be joined by Lorenz Hoja as NoMad Singapore’s director of culinary. Chef Lorenz Hoja brings a wealth of international experience shaped by a career spent in some of the world's most acclaimed kitchens across England, France, Austria, the Maldives, and Singapore. He spent more than a decade working alongside legendary chef Joël Robuchon, including at Singapore's two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, where he helped define a standard of excellence rooted in precision, generosity, and craft.

As Culinary Director of NoMad Singapore, Lorenz leads the hotel's culinary vision, bringing together world-class technique, a spirit of curiosity, and NoMad's signature sense of warmth and hospitality. His approach celebrates exceptional ingredients, thoughtful cooking, and the belief that great meals create lasting memories.

NoMad also announces the appointment of Bernardo de la Garza as general manager at NoMad Singapore. Bernardo brings over 18 years of international hospitality experience across luxury and lifestyle brands, with senior leadership roles encompassing Six Senses, Hyatt Hotels, and Accor, and most recently as general manager at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. TROU AUX BICHES BEACHCOMBER TO REOPEN FOLLOWING RENOVATION & BEACH RESTORATION PROJECT

On 15th October this year, Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is set to reopen following a four-month transformation, unveiling a refreshed look while retaining its iconic character. Marking the resort’s 55th anniversary, the renovation reflects a strong commitment to sustainability and coastal resilience, with the launch of a beach restoration project to reinforce long-term shoreline protection. The hotel will re-emerge with the same timeless elegance, offering an exceptional setting for unforgettable experiences.

Resort Renovation

As the sunny season returns in October, Trou aux Biches will unveil a refreshed identity following an extensive renovation led by JFA Architects. Their refined design vision and sensitivity to interior aesthetics have been thoughtfully woven into every aspect of the guest experience, creating a harmonious blend of elegance, comfort and authentic Mauritian charm.

At the heart of the transformation is L’Oasis restaurant, the centerpiece of the renovation concept. Overlooking the lagoon and accommodating up to 450 guests, the space has been designed to embrace natural light from sunrise to sunset. Organic materials such as rope and rattan, complemented by vibrant ceramic tiles, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cold buffet pays homage to the charm of a traditional Mauritian home, while the warm buffet evokes the comforting feeling of being welcomed into a family residence. The resort also introduced a brand-new Corner Café, for the crêpe and coffee lovers, available throughout the day.

The renovation includes beautifully reimagined boutique suites, where sophistication and distinctive character are seamlessly integrated throughout the property. The Beachfront Junior Suites, Senior Suites and Garden Suites have all been redesigned to enhance comfort while preserving their iconic character and vintage-inspired décor. These elegant sanctuaries offer guests to a true home-away-from-home experience, enriched by the authentic spirit and warmth of Mauritius.

Guests are also welcome to the newly refreshed Beachcomber Boutique, a vibrant and contemporary space showcasing locally crafted creations, stylish resort wear, and handcrafted baskets. Reflecting the hotel’s renewed aesthetic, the boutique celebrates both local talent and the island’s unique sense of style. Adjacent to the boutique, guests can discover specialty imported coffees and gourmet products from renowned brands which are available for both tasting and purchasing.

Beach Restoration

One of the island’s most iconic beaches, Trou aux Biches has seen a shoreline retreat estimated at around 40 metres between 1967 and 2012, with erosion now reaching up to 1-2 metres per year in certain areas. The resort’s beachfront has significantly narrowed, hindering its natural function as a wave buffer and increasing the exposure of infrastructure.

In response to the challenges of beach erosion, Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is undertaking a major beach restoration project at Trou aux BIches from mid-May to September 2026. Designed to address the severe coastal erosion that has significantly reduced the beach over recent decades, the initiative will use the innovative STABIPLAGE® nature-based solution, including six submerged geotextile structures and 13,500 m³ of sand replenishment, to restore beach width, stabilise the shoreline and protect local ecosystems and infrastructure. Developed with international engineering and environmental experts, the project reflects Beachcomber’s commitment to sustainable coastal management and climate adaptation, while ensuring the beach remains accessible to the public throughout the works.

THE PARK HOTELS EXPANDS ZONE BY THE PARK AS DEMAND GROWS ACROSS INDIA’S CULTURAL AND PILGRIMAGE DESTINATIONS

As interest in India’s cultural and spiritual landscapes continues to grow globally, alongside strong domestic travel demand, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited, the group behind THE Park Hotels, is expanding into a new wave of high-growth destinations.

The group has recently launched three hotels under its Zone by The Park and Zone Connect by The Park brands in Darjeeling, Gangtok and Katra, while signing two further properties in Ayodhya and Ujjain, signalling a strategic focus on spiritual and religious destinations where infrastructure investment and visitor numbers are rising sharply.

Positioned within the upper midscale segment, Zone by The Park represents the group’s contemporary lifestyle brand, bringing design-led hospitality to locations that have historically lacked quality branded accommodation.

This expansion sits alongside the group’s broader growth strategy following its IPO, which includes a move into the luxury heritage sector, most recently marked by the launch of Punjab’s first luxury palace hotel, Ran Baas The Palace and THE Lotus Palace Chettinad.

The shift is particularly evident in India’s pilgrimage cities. Ayodhya, home to the newly inaugurated Ram Temple, has rapidly emerged as one of the country’s most high-profile spiritual destinations, driving unprecedented visitor growth and demand for new hospitality infrastructure.

Alongside this, Ujjain, one of India's most important and long-established pilgrimage centres, renowned for the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple and the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, one of the world's largest religious gatherings, is undergoing significant redevelopment and investment, further strengthening its appeal to both domestic and international visitors.

At the same time, the group's recent openings in Darjeeling and Gangtok reflect renewed interest in India's Himalayan regions, renowned for their panoramic mountain landscapes, Buddhist heritage and growing appeal for wellness and nature-based travel. Meanwhile, Katra continues to see sustained visitor volumes as the gateway to the revered Vaishno Devi Shrine, one of India's most significant pilgrimage sites.

Together, these developments highlight a broader evolution in the Indian hospitality market, where established domestic brands are expanding beyond major cities into culturally significant and experience-led destinations, responding to a new generation of travellers seeking both meaning and modern comfort.
