The London EDITION is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Design Museum in which will begin with the support of PLATFORM: Simone Brewster, launching in February 2026. PLATFORM is an annual display dedicated to showcasing leading voices in contemporary design practice. Opening on 13 February 2026, the second edition of the series presents the compelling work of London-based designer Simone Brewster, exhibiting objects spanning architecture, furniture, jewellery, collectible design and unveiling brand-new works.

Brewster’s practice defies easy categorisation. Working fluidly across scales and disciplines, her work explores form through an architectural and sculptural lens, drawing on rich material histories and layered cultural references, from Palaeolithic fertility figures to African diasporic traditions. She has experimented with materials including wood, hair, copper and cork, crafting luxury objects layered with meaning and cultural significance. Spanning four sections entitled Passages, Everyday Ornaments, Scales of Emotion and Body Narratives, this monographic display will explore Brewster’s multidisciplinary practice, as well as the rich narratives and histories she imbues within her designs.

To mark the opening of the exhibition, The London EDITION will host a dinner in Brewster’s honour at its signature restaurant, Berners Tavern, on the evening of 12 February 2026, attended by guests of Simone Brewster and the EDITION.

In March, The London EDITION will host a private cocktail and conversation with Simone Brewster in Punch Room, celebrating the launch of the accompanying publication PLATFORM: Simone Brewster. Published by Thames & Hudson, this is the second title in the PLATFORM series, designed by Daly & Lyon. Co-edited by Hadeel Eltayeb, curator at the Design Museum, the publication brings together newly commissioned texts, drawings and photography to explore Brewster’s practice in depth. The hotel will also activate its iconic Lobby Bar during London Design Week in September, featuring an installation by Brewster.
