On Tuesday 3rd February, Raffles London at The OWO hosted an exclusive Lunar New Year celebration in partnership with Elite Traveler, its official media partner, alongside Selfridges and Sipsmith Gin, welcoming 90 of the hotel’s most valued VVIP guests and members of its international network spanning fashion, culture, travel and business.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Royal Household Cavalry and hosted in The Guard’s Bar & Lounge, the evening marked the arrival of the Year of the Horse with a refined celebration honouring tradition at one of London’s most prestigious addresses. The event brought together a distinguished audience for an intimate and elegant occasion.
Guests enjoyed a carefully curated selection of canapés and Champagne, alongside bespoke gin cocktails created in partnership with Sipsmith especially for the evening. Each guest also departed with a gift from Selfridges, highlighting the newly launched A Lunar New Year Stay, and offering a preview of the private shopping element included within the package.
The package includes an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s elegant rooms or suites, a traditional Raffles Chinese breakfast, a celebratory dinner at Saison by Mauro Colagreco with a glass of Champagne, and a bespoke welcome gift. Available until 15th March 2026, the experience is further elevated with a private luxury shopping experience at Selfridges, offering personalised service, exclusive access and seamless delivery back to the hotel.
