Outbuildings Dorset – one of the UK’s finest luxury farm hotels – has just opened two new showstopper rooms, its best offering yet.
‘The Shelter’ features two brand new cabins that blend 70s chic with rustic countryside glamour. Named The Shelter #1 and Shelter #2, both are standalone, offering expansive panoramic views of West Dorset’s rolling hills.
Guests can enjoy the vista 24/7 thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. They can also soak up the beautiful countryside views from the stunning brass William Holland hot tub, sliding back the doors to effectively bathe al fresco.
Inside the cabins, the Emperor-sized beds (featuring Naturalmat mattresses) promise a good night’s sleep. Guests can also freshen up in the walk-in rainfall shower and snuggle by the in-room log burner. Bespoke high-end touches, like taps from Francone Bespoke Taps and tiles by Bert & May and Artisan of Devizes, make each cabin stand apart from competitors.
Shelter #1 and Shelter #2 sleep two adults per cabin and are both dog friendly. Bookings are open now. Prices start from £395 a night.
About Outbuildings Dorset
Outbuildings Dorset is the ultimate couples’ destination. A Covid success story, this boutique farm hotel is a down-to-earth, 100% dog-friendly alternative to Soho Farmhouse. Here guests enjoy glamour without pretension with service that is second-to-none. Notably, Outbuildings is run by a real Dorset family, The Whiteheads, supported by a handpicked talented team all from the local area.
This unique adults-only hotel just outside Bridport, is also a short drive from the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Although you might not want to leave…
Converted from outbuildings on a family farm – hence the name – Outbuildings now boasts 11 individually-styled rooms, cabins and huts that can sleep from 2 to 6 guests.
They range from The Pen, a beautiful shepherd’s hut, and The Coop, a New England style tiny home, to The Granary – a magnificent 2-bedroom space with an indoor hot tub – and The Cider Room, with its giant round copper bath and bull’s head tap.
Each room has been uniquely designed with the charms of bygone era antiques and high-end modern comforts. What makes Outbuildings even more special is every part of the hotel has been entirely designed and styled by the family themselves, using local suppliers.
They’ve paid particular attention to ensure every guest can switch-off in style. There are even ‘benches’ in the new shower rooms so female guests can sit down whilst shaving their legs!
