Luxurious five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel, Glenapp Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland, is thrilled to announce that it has appointed Will Flower as the Hebridean Sea Safari Manager.

Following a successful launch in 2019, Glenapp Castle is becoming renowned for offering its unique Hebridean Sea Safari experience to its guests. It comes as no surprise that the Castle needed a strong figure to oversee the planning, the detailed logistics and to ensure that the camp is set up to the highest possible standards for each Sea Safari guest.

On the Hebridean Sea Safari, guests are whisked off on the Glenapp Castle Boat on a magical sea life safari to spot dolphins, minke whales, puffins, eagles and basking sharks, before they settle on the beautiful and remote island of Jura for the night. Here, they will find the hotel’s glamping site that is also home to an Atlantic Seal colony. Surrounded by stunning seascapes and rugged landscapes, guests will dine in the wild before retreating to their African safari inspired tepees.

Will is passionate about the outdoors, and with his military background, having been a British Army Phase One Training Instructor (2017-2019) and an Intelligence Analyst in HM Forces, he is looking forward to utilising his excellent organisational skills. Will is also on hand for all the guests’ needs, throughout the trip, both on board and onshore.

Will is joining at an exciting time for Glenapp Castle. Indeed, the hotel is launching The Azalea, Glasshouse & Bothy Restaurant and the hotel recently opened The Endeavour, its penthouse castle apartment, that is the most opulent and impressive in the whole of Scotland. In addition to the four bedrooms, five bathrooms, media room, library and games room, sauna, beauty and treatment room, The Endeavour has its own kitchen and private dining room for up to 16 guests and is able to be offered on an exclusive and private basis with a full butler service and private chef.

Glenapp Castle has also hired Sandy Campbell, their new and exuberant skipper. Sandy has voluntarily served for 21 years for the local coast guard team and was born and raised on the west coast of Scotland, so he knows the area like the back of his hand Not only is his knowledge of the local area incredible, his expertise in Scottish sea life is hugely impressive.

Managing Director of Glenapp Castle, Jill Chalmers comments – ‘’We are absolutely delighted to be expanding the team and for Will to be joining at such an exciting time for the hotel. We are committed to developing our offering and to growing our already flourishing business and we are sure that Will is going to take Glenapp Castle to new heights’’.
