Marriott International is proud to announce the appointment of Stephane Buchholzer as the new EAM of Culinary and F&B at Destination Mina Seyahi, overseeing three hotels within the complex, Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Water Park, and the recently opened W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, which sits within Marriott International’s luxury portfolio.

Stephane Buchholzer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. With over 25 years of culinary experience in some of the world’s top restaurants and hotels, Buchholzer has earned a reputation for his innovative approach to food and his commitment to excellence with hotels winning multiple awards under his leadership.

Returning to the Mina Seyahi complex after having worked as Culinary Director in 2010, his role now as EAM Culinary and F&B, Buchholzer reports directly to Tolga S. Lacin, Area General Manager, and is responsible for the overall F&B strategy, driving innovation across the 18 F&B venues, leading his culinary team, and positioning the complex as an award winning destination for food and beverage.

Stephane made the return move from Doha to the UAE in late 2022 to take up his position having previously worked in New York City, Austria, France and Azerbaijan and aims to build on the stronghold position Destination Mina Seyahi already has, through pushing culinary boundaries with new concept restaurants and a key focus on customer recognition.

My goal is to create unique and memorable dining experiences that showcase the best of local and international cuisine.”
