Sounds of Summer – Live, alfresco music performances

From the 2nd of July, running for six weeks, Seaham Hall will be running its brand-new ‘Sounds of Summer’ programme, offering a varied line up of live music on the hotel’s outdoor terrace, each Sunday afternoon. Guests and visitors of the hotel will be welcome to unwind and relax in the sunshine whilst sipping on an expertly crafted cocktail or chilled bottle of wine, all whilst soaking up the summery atmosphere created by the live performances and tranquil setting found within the stunning, landscaped gardens.

This summer’s impressive performance line up includes; Ali Sax – an energetic saxophone performer covering an array of well known tunes with a contemporary, summer-time twist; Glen Roughead – an acoustic vocalist and loop artist who is widely known for his ability to captivate and enchant audiences and lastly;  John Gatenby – an acoustic vocalist covering a range of hit songs with his stunning voice.

Dining Pods

In addition, to make the very most of the summer evenings, Seaham Hall is offering guests the chance to dine in their much loved outdoor pods which are open to guests throughout the summer months.

The outdoor dining pods offer an intimate experience for group get-togethers and make for the perfect spot to enjoy an al-fresco feast as the sun sets or a refreshing outdoor cocktail in a unique, laid back atmosphere. Each pod is kitted out with blankets and bluetooth speakers, making dining experiences as cosy and atmospheric as possible. Those seeking the ultimate, romantic evening might opt to dine on a selection of irresistible dishes from the Summer Pod Menu, which offers up a range of mouth-watering delights such as; Italian-inspired Caprese salad with sun ripened Isle of Wight tomatoes, Roasted free-range chicken Provençale, and beautifully light pavlova topped with fresh, seasonal fruits and whipped cream. Guests are invited to enjoy  the Summer Pod Menu whilst dining underneath the stars, and gazing out over the lawns, for an evening to remember.
