Despite the cost-of-living crisis, consumers are still finding the time and money to treat themselves – with delicious baked goods having a big part to play in this.
Panesco is giving caterers the opportunity to add real value to their menus with the launch of its brand-new croissant cups – delicious, creamy delights offering pure indulgence with every bite.
Available in two formats, these new croissant shapes hide a deliciously creamy secret inside a shell of premium laminated yeast dough.
The Croissant Cup Chocolate offers everything a normal croissant would – the light texture, buttery smell and crispy crust – but with a twist. Hand folded into a cup, this fully baked sweet treat is filled with a sensational chocolate paste filling, and finished with a light sprinkle of dark chocolate nibs.
Its Croissant Cup Speculoos is also manually folded and baked in a muffin paper cup, resulting in a unique and sophisticated shape. Filled with a speculoos Lotus Biscoff spread and decorated with a Lotus Biscoff cookie crumble, this product oozes indulgence and luxuriousness.
Rebecca Calveley, Trade Marketing Manager for La Lorraine Bakery Group, said: “Whether it be an independent cafe, university canteen or a hotel catering set up, our new croissant cups can add value to any foodservice business – offering real opportunities for caterers to drive margins and footfall.”
