L’oscar London and The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York are set to elevate London’s cocktail scene with an exciting martini-themed collaboration starting this May. As esteemed members of Leading Hotels of the World, this partnership not only pays homage to the vibrant essence of two renowned capital cities but also promises a range of exclusive guest experiences, including an immersive Martini Masterclass and a pop-up dinner by well renowned American Chef, Charlie Palmer – complete with New York entertainment.

Central to this collaboration lies The Knickerbocker’s iconic dry martini, a cocktail deeply intertwined with the hotel’s rich history. Legend has it that bartender Martini de Arma di Taggia perfected this serve in the early 1900s within the walls of The Knickerbocker’s legendary bar. From 1907 to 1920, the hotel reigned as the epicentre of the dry martini craze, attracting luminaries such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Enrico Caruso.

In celebration of this famous cocktail, now over 100 years old and a symbol of refinement and glamour, The Knickerbocker is poised to honour its legacy with a year-long celebration, highlighted by a Martini World Tour commencing at L’oscar London.

In addition to The Knickerbocker’s signature dry martini gracing the menu for six months, these highlight experiences include:
