Founded in 2011, Hoxton Spirits is an innovative and disruptive drinks brand that encompasses the spirit and culture of East London, particularly Hoxton. It is a brand that represents an identity that is based on the artistic flare of East London but made for everyone and enjoyed worldwide. The brand’s Founder, Gerry Calabrese, having made a name for himself within the hospitality industry, launched Hoxton Spirits after seeing a gap in the market for a premium flavoured gin that offered a complex flavour profile and elevated drinking experience without the need for artificial ingredients. 

The brand’s founding flavour, Tropical Gin, is created using a recipe that took three and a half years to develop the product has remained unchanged for over a decade and is Hoxton’s leading product across both trade and consumer audiences. In addition to Tropical Gin, Hoxton Spirits also offers Pink Gin, Dry Gin, London Spritz, Spiced Whisky and Banana Rum. Plans to develop other spirits are already underway for the brand. All of the Hoxton products go through a multistep maceration process resulting in the complex profiles each flavour boasts.

The son of Salvatore Calabrese (The Maestro), Gerry spent over two decades as a mixologist while also building a reputation throwing the best parties across the UK. Gerry is also well known within the industry as the founder of The Hoxton Pony, the iconic East London bar which saw performances from the likes of Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson.
