Bottleproof Cocktails who supply bottled cocktails exclusively to the on-trade have announced they are launching some of their best-selling cocktails in paper bottles from September.
As Charlie Anderson, co-owner and head of production at Bottleproof Cocktails says
“From the very outset, we have been looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint and using paper bottles is a significant step forward. We have invested in a new production facility with a new line dedicated to filling and capping paper bottles. Starting from September, our two most popular cocktails, the Pornstar Martini and Espresso Martini, will be available for delivery and by December, we hope to have increased the paper bottle range to 5 cocktails”
The ground-breaking paper bottles are 94% recyclable and reduce the carbon footprint by up to 6 times compared to glass bottles. As Charlie also points out,
“Aside from the environmental benefits for our customers there are also operational savings too as due to their reduced weight and size compared to glass bottles, venue refuse collection costs will be less”
Bottleproof Cocktails, who have a range of over 25 cocktails including 0% cocktails have been supplying cocktails to many hotels across the UK since 2016, picking up some top awards from IWSC, The Spirits business and LSC along the way.
