Dominus has completed the sale of its Courtyard by Marriott Oxford hotel to Millemont Capital Partners for £74m, marking another significant transaction in the UK hotel investment market.
The 151-key property, located in Oxford’s rapidly growing business and leisure district, has been acquired by the London-based investment firm as it continues to expand its UK hospitality portfolio. Millemont has been an active buyer in the sector, recently acquiring two Crowne Plaza hotels in the Thames Valley region as part of its growth strategy.
The hotel was developed by Dominus and forms part of the group’s wider hospitality platform, which includes branded assets operating under Marriott and Hilton franchise agreements. Dominus launched its dedicated hotel management business, Dominus Hospitality, in 2025 and has continued to grow its presence across the UK hotel sector through a combination of development, ownership and operations.
The Courtyard by Marriott Oxford has established itself as a key accommodation offering within the city, benefiting from strong demand driven by Oxford’s academic institutions, corporate occupiers and growing visitor economy.
The transaction highlights continued investor appetite for high-quality regional hotel assets, particularly those operating under internationally recognised brands and supported by strong underlying market fundamentals.
For Dominus, the sale represents a further step in the recycling of capital into new hospitality opportunities. The company remains active across the hotel development market, with several projects underway, including major hotel schemes in London and a growing pipeline of hospitality-led developments. Recent initiatives include the acquisition and planned conversion of landmark office buildings into hotels through partnerships with institutional capital providers.
The deal also underscores the resilience of the UK hotel investment market, which continues to attract domestic and international capital seeking exposure to operational real estate sectors with strong long-term demand drivers.
