To celebrate the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III, Seaham Hall, County Durham’s five star coastal hotel, is offering owners of the quintessentially British King Charles Cavalier Spaniels the opportunity to stay for free, and make use of the hotel’s new and unrivalled dog-friendly offering. This summer, furry companions are invited to come along and explore the beauty of County Durham’s coastline, together with their human counterparts, and roam the picturesque landscape of the nearby coastal paths, sweeping beaches and endless countryside.
Honouring the occasion of the Coronation by introducing the new dog-friendly stays offered at the hotel, Seaham Hall is opening up the doors of a selection of its 21 beautifully designed rooms and suites to well-behaved four legged friends who deserve a relaxing getaway as much as their humans. Each of the rooms and suites provide a luxurious, yet homely atmosphere to unwind and relax in at guests leisure, as well as a range of practical amenities to make a stay complete with a dog as comfortable and as seamless as possible.
From 1st May – 30th June, owners booking a dog-friendly package with their King Charles Cavalier Spaniel will receive a third night free as part of a three night stay. As part of each guest’s canine-accompanied getaway, pampered pets will receive an in-room ‘pup-pack’ – complete with bowls, towels and irresistible treats including pawsecco, perfect for pooches to refresh themselves with after a day out exploring the coastline!
Seaham Hall boasts an enviable location for dog walking, situated on Durham’s Heritage Coast, overlooking a rugged, sweeping coastline. The property provides guests with striking views from inside this striking Georgian country house and equally impressive walks and countryside to explore, along with a four-legged friend. The nearby Seaham Beach provides plenty of space for dogs to exercise, paddle in the sea and enjoy their getaway as much as their human counterparts, while nearby stretches of sand such as Alnmouth or Bamburgh Beach are perfect for longer walks.
Of course, guests who pamper their dogs deserve to be pampered themselves, and are welcomed to make full use of the award-winning Serenity Spa, whilst their dog spends quality time with another family member or friend. Complete with state of the art facilities including an outdoor hydropool, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and more, Serenity Spa offers a blissful sanctuary for guests to unwind in. Guests can choose from a range of indulgent spa treatments and therapies from either the Temple Spa or ishga range and leave the spa feeling revitalised and renewed.
As part of the celebrations across the weekend, Seaham Hall will be serving a delicious Afternoon Tea, in true British style, with a subtle nod to the Coronation events, including Coronation Chicken Sandwiches made with freshly sliced bread, a range of seasonal fruit tarts and traditional, much loved fruit cakes. Guests will also be given the option to indulge in a sparkling Afternoon Tea offering, complete with quintessentially British Gusbourne sparkling wine.
Seaham Hall’s brand new dog-friendly offering promises King Charles Spaniels and owners alike a stay fit for a King this Coronation season!
